Niger Tornadoes 1–1 Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United shared the points in a 1–1 Matchday 3 draw at Bako Kontagora Stadium. The fixture was completed on Monday morning after heavy rain interrupted Sunday's match late in the game.

Plateau United took the lead through Jibril Ibrahim's free-kick in first-half stoppage time. The visitors defended their advantage as Tornadoes pressed for a response.

Bashir Musa levelled for the home side in the 84th minute. Play was halted by the waterlogged pitch around the 86th minute with the score at 1–1, and the remaining minutes and added time were played the following morning.

Both sides took a point from the North Central derby. The draw gave Niger Tornadoes four points from their first three league matches.
