Chairman of Niger Tornadoes Football Club, Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso (Danwadatan Nupe), has charged the players to embrace the challenges ahead as the team intensifies preparations for the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Speaking during the team's training session at the Eyagi Technical College Football Pitch in Bida, Dr. Kuso welcomed the players and encouraged them to feel at home while participating in the club's preseason programme and friendly matches.
The Chairman also introduced the club's newly constituted management team, emphasizing that success on the pitch remains the club's foremost objective. He noted that the preseason programme is designed to ensure the team is adequately prepared for the demands of the new campaign.
Dr. Kuso assured the players of the management's unwavering commitment to providing the necessary support and creating a conducive environment for the team to succeed throughout the season.
The Ikon Allah Boys are currently in Bida for a series of preseason friendly matches as the technical crew continues to assess the squad, evaluate new arrivals, and fine-tune preparations ahead of the 2026/2027 NPFL season.
